Today I jointed the University’s Nineteenth Annual Campus Clean-Up Day at Albany.
Caroline, Jim, Debbie, Makisha, President Jones, Bea, Toni, Carrie, Hayes, Amy, Gail, Provost Stellar |
This event started with fewer than 100 participants in 1997, this year exceeded 700 volunteers. Cleanup Day is a time when faculty, students, staff and administrators work side by side to prepare the campus for the Commencement Weekend and other signature events that occur during the late spring and summer.
I worked just a part of the day, from 9 until noon, but worked hard.
It was an opportunity to experience and to do some volunteer work in USA. Especially for UAlbany, which gave me the opportunity to be here as a Visiting Scholar at CTG.
Debbie, I appreciate your effort to send me the names.
