Brief Bio
Beatriz Lanza is a PhD Student in Business Administration at Federal University of the State of Paraná (UFPR) and Senior Analyst at IT Company of the State Government (CELEPAR). Her research interests includes models of technology implemented in mobile Government (mGovernment).

Beatriz is a member of International Federation for Information Processing, and participated in the e-PING Standard for Interoperability of the Brazilian Government. She coordinated the project for Electronic Government of the State of Paraná. In 2006 Beatriz received the CONIP EXCELLENCE Award - Corporate Use of SMS in the State Government. In Vienna, she received the Best Paper Finalist Highly Commended Paper Award for the article "Relations Among Governmental Project Actor: The Case of Paraná mGov”. Bea is a Professor Graduate in Information System and Electronic Government and contributes to her own blog on eGovernment available at http://www.bialanza.com.br/. She participates in the following research groups in Brazil: ISEPE, GCI2, Business Modal

Currently, she is researching a conceptual mGovernment Business Model with a particular focus on low cost and long range technologies for developing countries.
